Featuring - Active Sensory Effects
A simulation primarily provides a visual simulation of flight. The visual sensation is very powerful, but vision is only one of your primary senses.
Raven Cockpits provide intense realism with Active Sensory Effects (ASE);
- Stick Shaker ( a hearty rattle in the control column, not a feeble 'force feedback' )
- Q-Feel ( the control column load increases with MACH number )
- G-Suit ( anti-G trousers inflate with G load to 'pinch' your thighs and legs )
- G-Harness ( your seat harness grabs you with +ve G and -ve G loads)
- Accel-Seat ( subtle devices to feel acceleration and deceleration )
- Gunfire / Cannon flash ( context sensitive as to the aircraft type you are flying )
- Sonics ( bone jarring sonics to feel the engine, feel the runway, feel everything )
The following graphic shows the prototype EFFECTS console control, located on the immediate right hand side console.
